About the Program

CS GYPSY HORSES is a small family run farm that is owned and founded by Cara Simmons. 

Here, I am training & raising horses with connection based methods. I provide services focused on human-equine connection such as high quality equine photography, breeding, and much more!

I center myself majorly on not only the training quality, over the quantity of the training done, but also making sure to establish a strong relationship with the equines in my care. 

 As well as keeping in mind the vision that the Romani people had strived for in this beautiful horse breed, when it comes to producing the next generation. 

We have a small, handpicked, herd of Gypsy Horses (also known as Gypsy Vanners, Gypsy Cobs, Irish Cobs, Tinkers, etc) and are highly selective in what horses we add to our program. 

Though our herd may be small compared to most, we have some of the most willing, kind and beautiful horses. With good training, minds, and of course quality conformation. Our horses have proven themselves in the show ring, and on the farm, winning ribbons in performance classes and getting jobs done around here. But most importantly they trust, and love, their people. Our horses capture exactly what this breed was intended for, with strong bones, thick and powerful bodies, hair, and most of all a kind, gentle, and willing temperaments.
